Mayor Vs. Amezcua- Show Us The Money

October 7, 2010 10

Campaign finance statements came out yesterday for the Santa Ana city candidates, in which all of them turned it in except for Sal Tinajero, as my co-blogger pointed out. The one I was curious to check out was the Mayoral statements, primarily for Alfredo Amezcua and Miguel Pulido. You can review Pulido’s statement HERE and Amezcua’s statement HERE.

I Don’t Love Lucy(lle Kring)

October 7, 2010 3

Lucille Kring finally hit the mailboxes yesterday, but it was not even an introductory mailer, it was a hit piece on Lou Correa. I am working on getting ahold of the piece. That tells you something about the state of her finances when she has to start off hitting Lou immediately. Well the pro-Correa forces have struck back with www.idontlovelucy.com.

Santa Ana’s Councilman Tinajero breaks another law

October 7, 2010 3

One of the simplest things for a candidate or elected official to do is to file their campaign finance reports on time. The first pre-election statements were due to the Santa Ana City Clerk by 5 pm on Tuesday. SSA Manager transferred after allegations of workplace campaigning on behalf Ceci Iglesias

October 6, 2010 4

Around the end of April and early May, Iglesias and her supporters were actively gathering signatures for her independent campaign for Congress. Those supporters included her sister Sylvia a SSA Manager and an SSA employee at the same office as Sylvia (a close family friend to both Iglesias sisters). One of the places that the SSA employee sought signatures was at work. Our investigation has found at this point ten workers, at the Santa Ana Central Regional Office (CRO) of SSA, who were allegedly approached by this employee to sign Cecilia Iglesias’ nomination petition at the SSA worksite.

Thomas Holguin- Not The Friend of the Latinos

October 5, 2010 44

Either way, this man is not the friend of the Latino community and his vote in 2007 shows he would sell immigrants and immigrants rights activists down the river in a heartbeat. His actions united Latino politicos from the left and the right alike, as you can see from viewing the videos HERE, with testimonials from Lou Correa, Jose Solorio and Alexandria Coronado, a team-up you are likely to never see again. Make your choices wisely this November and do NOT vote for Thomas “Hoagy” Holguin, he is not a friend of the Latino community.
