Time to Change Your Passwords — All of Them

This isn’t a conservative or liberal issue, but yesterday Forbes Magazine broke a story about a massive breach of security with 16 billion passwords released into the wild.  Take an hour today and create a new password for every application you use and every website  that requires access.

It’s said that passwords are like underwear; should be changed often and for the same reason.  It’s a good idea to download a Password Manager product to help you track your passwords.  Need help creating new passwords?  Consider things attached to you which you know by heart but would be difficult to impossible to track back to you.  A child’s first elementary school, your childhood street address, the date of a parent’s death, a street address that you used to live at.

Or, go head to Micro Center and buy a simple authentication device; install it and follow instructions.  Get on that can attach to your keychain.

This is a serious cybersecurity breach; take it seriously.
