Rep. Dave Min Introduces Bill to Repeal the Executive Order Creating DOGE
Rep. Min: “I introduced the BAD DOGE Act to rein in the blatantly illegal and unconstitutional activities of Elon Musk and DOGE”
Washington, DC — Representative Dave Min (CA-47), member of the House Oversight Committee, introduced the Bolstering America’s Democracy and Demanding Oversight and Government Ethics Act or the BAD DOGE Act. This legislation would repeal President Donald Trump’s executive order establishing and implementing DOGE. Representatives Melanie Stansbury (D-NM), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), and Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) have joined as original cosponsors. Read the bill text here.
“Elon Musk and DOGE are attacking the very foundations of our democracy,” said Representative Min. “An unelected and unvetted billionaire violating our privacy and deleting federal agencies does not promote good governance, it violates the Constitution. I introduced the BAD DOGE Act to rein in the blatantly illegal and unconstitutional activities of Elon Musk and DOGE.”

Representative Min has been outspoken about the “blatant attacks on our Constitution that Elon Musk and DOGE are engaged in right now.”
“Let me be clear – Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and the so-called Department of Government Efficiency are flagrantly violating the Constitutional separation of powers, federal labor laws, and Congressional authority. That’s why I am proud to be an original co-sponsor of the BAD DOGE Act led by Rep. Min, which would repeal the DOGE Executive Order already under scrutiny in the courts,” said Representative Stansbury. “We will not stand by while this Administration recklessly sows chaos, dismantles vital programs, and harms our communities. And, we will not stop fighting in the courts, in Congress, and in our communities.”
“The so-called ‘DOGE’ operation we’re seeing right now is not promoting efficiency – it’s gutting federal agencies, killing jobs, and clawing back Congressionally appropriated government funding with no oversight or act of Congress behind it,” said Representative Ansari. “With our bill, Oversight Democrats are working to stop this effort in its tracks. If Donald Trump and Elon Musk were actually interested in promoting government efficiency, they’d work with Congress to do it.”

Good luck with that bit of useless pandering and attention seeking. Irrelevance sucks Dave. Just get used to it. But do us all a favor and don’t get behind the wheel and turn into the next Vern Nelson..
I remember starting in 2020, my state representative was not worried about jobs lost (permanently) from closed restaurants and businesses. Jobs were lost for not taking an untested dangerous shot. How about the allowed stealing because of state law? In the last 12 months, my mail has been stolen and missing: Also, attempted Grand theft auto, (broken window, ignition, glove box lock and trunk cleaned out). A U Haul truck lock damaged because of attemped theft. A family I know, had a member murdered in St Paul, home of Tim Walz. So I want a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy. I could go on but you get the idea. At least Min is true to his promise to End MAGA.
