FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MARCH 27, 2018
The Democratic Party of Orange County (DPOC) today announces endorsement of the following candidates seeking County office in the June 5th, 2018 Primary elections:
County Board of Supervisors, District 2: Brendon Perkins
County Board of Supervisors, District 4: Joe Kerr
County Board of Education, Area 2: David Boyd
County Board of Education, Area 5: Mary Navarro
County District Attorney: Brett Murdock
County Assessor: Nathaniel Fernandez Epstein
County Sheriff: Duke Nguyen
“We are proud to endorse this strong slate of Democrats,” said Fran Sdao, DPOC Chair. “Our candidates have the strength, experience, and values to serve with integrity. It’s time for change in Orange County. We can end the disastrous reign of all those who pander to Trump’s agenda when we vote on June 5th.”

Kerr doesn’t live anywhere near District 4. How disgraceful.
He’s from the district, spent most of his life there, and has lived there for more than a year. Law says he needs to establish residence at least 30 days before the election. Get over it. He can run in 4th and knows it well.
Faking an address on a voter registration form is perjury. Kerr’s already done it twice.
Pretending to live in some guy’s spare room in Brea isn’t establishing residency.
What Kerr “knows well” is that he can get away with fraud. But he’s wrong about that.
The law says you need to be a resident of a district 30 days before the election; Joe has lived in the district for well over a year. Moving within that year and filing appropriate changes to voter registration are completely legal.
But please tell me oh anonymous alleged 4th district resident — how long most someone live in a city or district before one isn’t a carpetbagger? I’m from New York — but have lived in Irvine for 20 years. Am I a carpetbagger?
Please shed your wisdom and back it up with the rule of law. Because so far, you’re not right about anything.
