Protest Issa on Friday

From Mike Levin’s campaign:

Congressman Issa and Republicans in Congress will stop at nothing to take away healthcare from millions of Americans. The Senate is going to vote on Friday to move forward on a bill and they almost have the 50 votes they need. We must stop them!

No matter what happens on Friday, we must continue talking to voters so we can take back Congress. This weekend, we are going to join California leaders like Assembly Member Mike Gipson, Senator Ben Hueso & Senator Toni Atkins, Assembly Members Todd Gloria, Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher & Shirley Weber for a fun rally and a “superwalk” to talk to voters on behalf of Flip the 49th. Meet up with Mike beforehand at our office to get a shirt and breakfast before heading to the rally down the street. Will you join us?

  1. Mike Levin only decided to run after he saw Applegate perform well against Issa. Levin isn’t a leader, he’s a follower. I’m encouraging all my veteran friends to support the only candidate that served in the military: Doug Applegate.

    • That’s not actually true. Mike decided to run shortly after Trump was elected. He and I had a long phone call about his decision to be more activist in 2017 and beyond, but he did not specifically say he was running for Congress. Mike is an exceptional leading in a number of fronts. Doug did well in 2016 but when you look at the issues, Doug’s harsh words about Hillary Clinton, and organization — Mike is heads and shoulders above Applegate
