Cano and Iglesias Go the Full Trump in Santa Ana

A recent report by NALEO showed that Latino voters in California by and large detest Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with only 11 percent absolutely certain or likely to vote for Trump largely due to his offensive comments about Mexicans being rapists, murderers and criminals.  But in Orange County, you don’t have to go far to find Latina candidates who are all in for Trump.

Santa Ana Unified candidates Ceci Iglesias and Angie Cano came out of the Trump closet last week via the Facebook photo above that’s going viral in Santa Ana.

So for voters in Santa Ana, here’s what these candidates support when it comes to the top of the ticket.

From SkyNews:

Donald Trump ignited a fierce row with Mexico by claiming the country’s immigrants to the US were not its “best” during the launch of his presidential bid at Trump Towers in New York in June 2015.

He said: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best.

“They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us.

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Iglesias should be remembered for her divisive video against Sharon Quirk-Silva over the transgender bathroom bill where she rails against Quirk-Silva being more concerned about her career than the safety of “our kids” which is a laugh considering Quirk-Silva’s long career as a teacher.  It’s actually Ceci who is projecting a concern about her own career as an elected official.  The copy in the video Iglesias struggles to read rails against children being used as political pawns which is funny considering how often she uses children as political pawns regularly to hold up homemade signs at events Iglesias seeks to exert her presence.

Iglesias claims every vote she makes is one with kids in mind; but its apparent she doesn’t speak to kids at all.  Transgender kids just want to use a bathroom at school; no one is pretending to be a girl to ogle girls in the restroom or locker room.  If Iglesias is concerned about that, then perhaps she ought to denounce creepy Donald Trump for barging into the dressing room of the Ms. Universe Pageant while the ladies, some under 218, are in various stages of getting dressed.

Cano is hoping this is the year she gets elected so she can do whatever Iglesias wants.  But Santa Ana voters ought to send both of these Trump-loving Republicans packing next week.

  1. Ceci has run for Congress, Assembly and Central Committee in the last 4 years. She puts POLITICS first.

She and Angie have both publicized my salary or salary and benefits package in a misguided attempt to intimidate me. Then she calls ME a bully for pointing out her violations of SAUSD Board Policy in accepting campaign contributions of over $1,000 and the violations of SAUSD Administrative Regulations and state law that occurred when her campaign materials were distributed to students on campus at an elementary school in Santa Ana.
