TheLiberalOC has confirmed that Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait is stepping down from the OCTA Board of Directors and sources indicated Anaheim city council member Lorri Galloway will be his replacement.
Tait is immersed in negotiations to bring the NBA Sacramento Kings to Anaheim and may not have the time to take on former Mayor Curt Pringle’s old role with OCTA. Galloway, who ran unsuccessfully for the fourth district Board of Supervisor’s seat in part because that jobs interaction with OCTA, is poised to make an impact on OCTA on behalf of Anaheim.
The OCTA would not confirm Galloway’s selection which would take place at a meeting on May 12, but did acknowledge the votes Anaheim has on the process.
