Costa Mesa Feet to the Fire Forum
Costa Mesa Community Center
1845 Park Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92627
Monday, April 18, 2011
Doors open at 6:30pm, forum is from 7-9pm (large turnout expected so you may want to get there early)
Note: CMTV will be recording the event too so if you can’t attend in person it will be on the city website eventually.
The conclusions of the panel discussion will be:
Businesses must face economic reality; they must be able to distinguish real economic growth from an economic bubble.
Cities do not have to face economic reality because they can tax, cut, and borrow. When cities eventually go bankrupt anyway – when they are no longer able to tax, cut, and borrow, they can always blame the economy, “Who could of known”?
