SANTA ANA — Even though in January the Orange County Board of Supervisors experienced Another Nail in the Coffin for Moorlach’s Pension Lawsuit Folly, they have decided to continue their failed lawsuit to overturn negotiated retroactive pension benefits of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs. After spending more than $2 ¼ million on their fools errand, they’re planning to double down with their blank taxpayer checkbook. Heck, it isn’t like it’s their money they’re gambling with.
The vote in closed session was 4-1 with Supervisor Nguyen being the dissenting vote.
