Will John Campbell Debate Beth Krom?

In a recent Rick Reiff TV show, Reiff invited Irvine Council member Beth Krom back on the program for a debate with Congressman John Campbell, whom Krom will face in the November election for CD-48.  Adam Probolsky, a Republican Party operative/pollster/freelance Register columnist (nice campaign ads, er columns, for your friends Adam) overheard Reiff’s invitation and said something overheard by Krom.  “I wouldn’t advise that,” referencing a Campbell debate with Krom.

So what is John Campbell afraid of?  Shouldn’t we, as voters, insist Campbell match up with Krom to defend his record in Congress and ask voters to return him to Washington.  And why would Probolsky be so afraid for Campbell to debate Krom? 

So we need to start insisting Campbell and Krom set some dates to debate.  Or else, someone needs to start showing up at Campbell events wearing a chicken suit.

    My plan of action:
    Everyone reading this should print the resolution – mail a letter to Campbell & Krom asking each to sign. Report to The Liberal OC through the “Contact Us” link if you received a response from Campbell or Krom.

    Signing or not signing is evidence about who they are.
    A debate is just words, – marketing skills, talking points with little or no solutions for America’s economic crises.

      And Shut Down Derivatives Now”!

  3. Dan, I am not sure which Adam Probolsky you are referring to here.

    There is the Adam, who pretends to be a conservative Republican, rubbing elbows with the big shots and allegedly (although doubtful) having some big insight, as a Political Consultant. Then there is the Adam, who pals around with groupies from “Friends of Larry,” and assists in targeting honorable people (Margie Wakeham) who oppose Agran as a candidate for City Council. Almost like a Jeckle & Hyde personality.

    Depending on which personality possessed Adam at the time, he may well have been trying to protect Beth Krom. Personally, I would like to see a debate between the two, just to be able to identify the best of the worst.
