Sanchez and Solorio Endorse Janice Hahn!

Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez and Assemblyman Jose Solorio have made the right choice on who to support for Lieutenant Governor in California.  As Matt Cunningham would say, these came over the transom today. All we need is Lou Correa to endorse and all of the big three in Orange County will be backing Janice for LG! This should hand her a big victory in Orange County, which has over half a million registered Democrats. Below are the Press Releases.

(LOS ANGELES) – Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez today endorsed Los Angeles City Councilwoman Janice Hahn for lieutenant governor.

“Janice Hahn is the woman we need in the state capitol to protect higher education and the environment,” said Congresswoman Sanchez. “Janice is ready, she is qualified and she has my full support.”

“I am humbled to have earned the support of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, who has been a real leader in California and in Congress,” said Hahn. “I will work with Congresswoman Sanchez to bring the resources back to California to get us moving forward again.”

Sanchez represents California’s 47th Congressional District, which includes the cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Fullerton in Orange County. A recognized leader on national security, intelligence, and counterterrorism issues, Sanchez serves as the Vice Chair of the House Homeland Security Committee and is a member of the Subcommittees on Border, Maritime, and Global Counterterrorism and Emerging Threats, Cybersecurity, and Science and Technology. She is also the ranking woman on the House Armed Services Committee, where she chairs the Terrorism, Unconventional Threats and Capabilities (TUTC) Subcommittee.

Hahn also has been endorsed in the Democratic primary by the California Labor Federation, Service Employees International Union, California Federation of Teachers, California Professional Firefighters, Communications Workers of America, Teamsters, Laborers International, EMILY’s List, National Organization for Women (NOW), National Women’s Political Caucus, Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), Los Angeles City Fire Department Chief Officers Association, Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association, Los Angeles Airport Police and Southern California Pipe Trades District Council 16, among many others.

    • What a joke! It is unbelievable that Janice Hahn can be taken seriously in any venue much less Guv Lite. This state is experiencing one of the worst economic conditions and unemployment levels ever not to mention our crisis in public education, infrastructure and public safety…and this is the best we can tout in the Democratic Primary??? Pleeaaassseeee! At least Gavin Newsom has functioned in an actual executive position in the City of San Francisco. No way can the bubbleheaded Hahn beat Newsom. Nor should she..so much for Sanchez and Solorio. What were they thinking?

  1. Jesus Christ, you guys don’t even pretend to be independent of MEG COUNTY.

Now you have Claudio channelling Matt “JUBAL” Cunningham too!

As for the substance, It’s a bit premature for this, but I like Janice Hahn. Not so sure she is the one that can beat AM. Plus the little understood duties of the office this time make this race second only to the AG’s.

  2. The trespass issue Hahn should be concerned with is the one in her own constituents’ back yards – literally. Hahn and her staff member, Jacob Haik are fully aware of the fact that Brea Canon Oil’s above-ground pipeline easement running through the Oakhorne Homeowners’ properties expired by its very own terms on January 1st, 2002. Brea has absolutely no authority to continue trespassing over their properties and Hahn, for reasons I can only imagine, has decided to ignore the outcry from the neighborhood. Rather than concern herself with issues relevant to her tax-paid job, she’s decided to look way outside of her jurisdiction to condone the trespassing of illegal aliens.

  3. The day Janice Haan voted with the minority on the LA City Council to allow the rogue LA dept of Water & Power to increase rates for the citizns of LA, she went on TV to grand stand against Arizona. She has been on the city council while the city has gone steadily down hill. I would never vote for her.
