Okay, the story of Andy Quach, member of the infamous “Gang of Seven” Viet politicos led by Van Tran, falling asleep at the wheel got me wondering. Is there more to this story than a simple case of Driving Under the Influence?
I have heard that at some point Quach was paid by Assemblyman Tran to do fundraising for him. I haven’t been able to find any more details on this in the most recent filings, but I’m still looking. Could Andy have been on a fundraising expedition for Van last night?Â
Rumors are flying around Little Saigon about the accident and who was with Andy before and possibly during the accident. Among the rumors is one about there being a possible passenger in the car with Andy who left the scene before the cops arrived.
I wonder, does anyone know if Van Tran was in town last night? Did anyone see him with Andy Quach last night? Maybe Van Tran’s handyman and Andy’s fellow Westminster Councilmember Truong “Tyler” Diep can shed some light on this event? Has anyone seen Van or Tyler since around midnight last night?
As Lou Dobbs might say; “So many questions remain.”
Chris,
It appears that you are engaged in some rumor mongering here. You don’t seem to have any hard facts to back up your innuendos.
Isn’t this the same type of behavior you criticize Art Pedroza and the Orange Juice for?
Oh that’s right, you are attacking one of your girl Janet’s “enemies” so that makes it okay.
What hypocrisy!
Sean, you really are far too predictable. Thanks for taking the bait.
The hypocrisy is that Sean H. Mill most likely applauds Councilman Quach’s actions by spinning that the councilman was just testing out how effective SoCal Edison’s Maintenance and Repair Division is.
Sean — you’re kidding right? Art dives into rumor and innuendo head first. Chris’s post doesn’t come close to that. Art had an entire post with made up quotes from politicians and other OC public figures and not a peep was heard from you then. Glass houses, Sean. Don’t throw any stones
