There are a couple of items that might be of interest to our readers from Santa Ana being considered by their City Council tonight.
The Council is scheduled to consider a new graffiti ordinance that will add tough new penalties for taggers, and their parents.
The Council will also consider awarding of a $6 million contract for the planning phase of a streetcar transportation project. There is a bit of controversy around the proposed contractor, who was the lowest ranked by staff scoring the proposals and the best connected of the bidders.
The City Council meeting begins at 6 pm at Santa Ana City Hall.
