Roof Collapses at North OC ROP

Anaheim, CA–A portion of the roof at the North OCROP, located on Loara in Anaheim, collapsed due to the rain this morning. Early reports say that five were injured, none seriously. The area which collapsed effected the section where medical assistant classes are held.

Students were evacuated to the Ganahl Lumber facility across the street. More details as they become available.

CORRECTION: The building is located at 1617 E. Ball, not on Loara, as had been relayed to me by a source not on the scene.

UPDATE: Ten people were trapped. Injuries reported included back and neck pain and trouble breathing. For more updates, go to: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/roof-students-transported-2256867-one-classroom.
