Hey, all you OC liberals! Have you been wondering what would happen at Drinking Liberally over the holidays? Are you wondering whether your favorite Thursday night fun spot would stay open? Well, I have the answers for you.
If you’re in South County, I have some not-so-good news for you. There will be no Drinking Liberally in Rancho Santa Margarita for the next two weeks. So if you were planning to go to Canyon Fireside Grille tomorrow or next Thursday, don’t expect to see Gary and the gang there. They’ll be back in business on January 3, just in time for Iowa Caucus party night!
However for all you in West County, it’s business as usual in Huntington Beach. Do expect Scott and the gang at Oggi’s tomorrow. There will a special update on the Democratic Party of Orange County’s upcoming plans for the February and June primaries… Oh yes, and I’ll be there to see what the big news will be. I’m sure we’ll have plenty of fun tomorrow!
And finally last, but definitely not least, Santa Ana will be up and running for the next two weeks. So if any of you are in that much need for some Drinking Liberally, Chris and the gang will still be at Memphis waiting for you. And for all of you regulars, feel free to drop by when you need a break from all your kooky visiting relatives. We’ll save a seat for you!

I would just like to tell eclectic group who “drink liberally” thank you for making me feel comfortable and welcome. As an unabashedly non-liberal, I was not thrown out or publicly defenestrated and had fun.
Although I would appreciate it if Memphis made a better cup of espresso. (_)? I know it’s a bar, not a coffee house, but they have a killer machine.
I hope to invade the ranks of liberals again soon and continue to infect you all with constructionist thoughts on future occasions. May you all have a wonderful holiday season and a Merry Christmas too.

I’m sorry that I wasn’t at Memphis last night to welcome you and all the other SA DL folks, as I was hanging out at Oggi’s with all my Surf City DL friends. But hey, feel free to come over to Memphis more often… We’ve had other “non-liberals” over, and we’ll be happy to share some drinks and talks with you. 🙂

It was actually a couple of weeks ago after the Santiago St. Lofts meeting. I was pleasantly surprised and since I know several who attend, I intend to return again. Maybe I can make the bartender a barista too in the process ;-).
