Oh, drats! Check out what I found this morning in The Register. Inflation is back, and it’s ready to bite.
Consumer prices in Southern California rose 0.5 percent in October and 3.5 percent over the past 12 months, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said today. ThatÂ’s up from an 0.2 percent increase in September, and a 2.3 percent rise in the 12 months through September, for the Orange County-Los Angeles-Riverside consumer price index.
And right now, it looks like we in OC are following a national trend of rising prices and not so good growth. Oh yes, and like the rest of the country,
rising oil prices and a sinking dollar seem to be causing a pinch in our pockets. But wait, are they?
What do YOU think about concerns of rising inflation? And are you being personally affected by all these inflation woes? Are you finding your favorite food items at the grocery store to be more expensive than before? Are you suddenly having to budget more money for “gas funds”? Or is everything just fine so far?
I want to hear what you have to say about inflation and how it’s personally affecting you. Is inflation affecting you? Or do you not even thinking about it?
Go ahead. Make my day. Have your say.
