Our friends at the OC GOP are active on X.com, formerly known as Twitter. Latest missives include a reminder that Congressman Dave Min is still on probation for a DUI in May 2023. And worse, they referred to an older post on the OJ Blog about how the de-chartered Anaheim Democrats club and their rebellion against the DPOC is a signal somehow that Democrats ought to consider becoming Republicans.
Assholes.
The Anaheim Democrats won’t be chartered. They continue to violate club rules regularly and claim to be “the conscious of the Democratic Party.” They aren’t.
Nope. It’s a small club membership-wise with a track record of backing losers and another track record of not giving money to candidates who address the club; many of whom find out the club isn’t chartered until after the meeting. And if you’re a candidate invited to address them and DPOC endorsement is important to you – don’t go. It’s not worth your time. But Vern Nelson might write a good or bad blog post about you depending on what you do. Their history of supporting and endorsing candidates is abysmal. They don’t represent the Democratic Party and they’ve gone rogue.
But using this club as a reason to join the OC GOP, really? OC GOP chair Will O’Neill must be smoking something. He’s the local county leader of a Party that backs a convicted felon, who now sits in the oval office violating norms, but reminding voters that Dave Min is still on probation is a big deal?
It’s not Will.
The OC GOP and the entire Republican Party has gone rogue. You abandoned your party’s guiding principals to follow Donald Trump and his governance by retribution. What have you become?

- You can an executive branch deporting people not convicted of anything to prison in El Salvador and want to send them to Libya? Hitler put them in camps.
- You back an administration that doesn’t care about due process unless it’s afforded the president’s actions; lawfare is OK when you do it even if there’s no crime involved (see Chris Krebs/CISA invesitgation for a clear example).
- You back an administration that says it’s the most transparent ever but won’t offer details on trade deals negotiated with other countries (we have 200 deals? There are only 208 sovereign nations).
- You allow a president to sell access to billionaires on policy issues. Money is flying into Trump’s personal resources, and his sons are brokering deals under the protection of Secret Service.
- You say your administration is protecting free speech, but he sues journalists for reporting stories the president doesn’t like.
- You allow the president to use government resources to lobby for golf championships on courses he owns.
- You railed against Lawfare under the Biden administration, even though investigations resulted in 91 indictments, but your OK with the DOJ and FBI targeting governors, judges and protecting private businesses that can afford to spend more on security.
- You talked non-stop about Biden’s cognitive decline but say nothing about Trump’s cognitive decline; his call to rehab Alcatraz into a working prison again, posting photos of himself as Pope, or as a Star Wars character with muscled arms (the only thing Trump lifts is a 9-iron, a fork, a Sharpie or a Big Mac. Taxpayer dollars pay for this. Oh, and slapping a tariff on an island populated only by Penguins which we have zero trade with is something a patient with dementia would do, don’t you agree?
- Oh, and let’s cut funding to PBS and NPR but spend $90 million on a military parade for a draft dodger.
- How’s your 401K doing Will? Trump can’t make decisions on Tariffs, and it shows how weak he is. And his actions are affecting markets in a negative fashion. Will the next recession be Joe Biden’s fault?
- What happens when we decide to invade Greenland or the Panama Canal? Reminds me of Hitler invading Poland. Are you OK with this?
- Your party is poised to cut social security, Medicare and Medicaid. Meals on Wheels is defunded.
- The world’s richest man has downloaded our private records while closing agencies that investigated his businesses or fined them.
- The Voice of America will use content from Oann?
- Mein Kampf is on the bookshelf at the Naval Academy library but books about African Americans have been pulled.
- Dave Min is still on probation. That’s true. What’s also true is Andrew Do is going to jail. So is Harry Sidhu. So is Todd Ament. You kept silent on all of this.
Instead of questioning the Democratic Party, ask yourself; what the actual hell happened to the Republican Party? You used to claim to be the party of law and order. No longer. You used to claim to be the party of fiscal conservatism. Nope. Tariffs are leading us straight into a recession.
If Joe Biden or Barrack Obama did what Trump did, you’d have a stoke. But Trump gets a full pass less you be primaried by Elon Musk.
The last three Republican presidents inherited a strong economy from a Democratic president and pissed it away. Oh to be trapped in Bill Clinton, Barack Obama or Joe Biden’s economy where unemployment was low, and we had strong, longtime allies.

The Biden administration’s phony jobs boom just went up in smoke. For months, it paraded numbers around like everything was fine, telling Americans the economy was roaring back, that job creation was on fire, and that “Bidenomics” was working. But the truth, long suspected by anyone trying to pay the bills, is now confirmed by the government’s own data: those jobs never existed.

According to new figures released this week, the 399,000 jobs the Biden team claimed were created between July and September of last year have completely vanished. Not only did the economy not add those jobs, but it also lost 1,000 private-sector jobs during that period.
“This more accurate dataset was just released by the BLS for the third quarter of last year,” EJ Antoni, a research fellow and the Richard Aster Fellow in The Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, explains over at Townhall. “In stark contrast to the monthly job reports showing an increase of 399,000 jobs during the third quarter, these new numbers show a decline of 1,000 private-sector jobs.”

Antoni breaks it down further: “Under Biden, these revisions were abnormal in magnitude and direction, being revised down with unusual frequency.” No kidding. In fact, the BLS’s more comprehensive annual benchmark, released earlier this year, revised down Biden’s job numbers from March 2023 to March 2024 by a jaw-dropping 598,000 jobs.

That’s not just bad math; that’s deception on a national scale.
While the Biden administration bragged about adding jobs, families across America were piling up credit card debt to keep the lights on. Over $1.2 trillion in debt wasn’t some fluke — it was a direct consequence of the inflationary, wage-crushing Bidenomics.
In other words, “Instead of adding almost 800,000 jobs during the middle of last year,” Antoni writes, “the economy likely shed more than 160,000 of them.”
Antoni predicts that the next annual benchmark “will probably be a (retroactive) reduction of jobs under Biden that exceeds this year’s large downward revision.”
So why all the fakery? Simple: politics. The Biden administration used cooked numbers to try to prop up a failing presidency and deceive voters ahead of the election. But it didn’t work.
“Voters weren’t fooled,” Antoni concludes. “That’s why they gave President Donald Trump an overwhelming victory last November.”
Exactly. The American people weren’t going to believe government statistics telling them everything was great when their bank accounts were empty or that groceries and gas were eating into their paychecks. They lived the reality every day. And now the data finally reflects the pain people already knew was real.”

Data analyst Tony Seruga exposed just how staged the latest Democratic Party rally was, revealing their ongoing attempts to manipulate public perception with inorganic crowds made up mainly of DEI activists rather than genuine grassroots supporters:

Former President Joe Biden “totally fucked us” — a top Kamala Harris campaign aide alleges in an explosive preview of a highly-anticipated new book.
In an article published by The Guardian late Monday — which contained a preview of the upcoming book Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’s Alex Thompson — top Harris advisor David Plouffe described the truncated 107-day 2024 campaign “a fucking nightmare.” And Plouffe pointed the finger squarely at the former president.

A Democratic National Committee panel on Monday recommended a new election for the post held by Vice Chair David Hogg, whose effort to challenge “asleep at the wheel” Democrats sparked a firestorm in the national party.
While the panel’s move was based on a procedural complaint unrelated to the broader controversy surrounding Hogg, the committee is giving DNC members another option to squeeze the vice chair after he promised to spend $20 million in Democratic primaries against incumbent House members in safe blue districts.
Hogg and DNC chair Ken Martin have been dueling over Hogg’s plans. Most recently, Martin said Hogg should either sign a neutrality pledge or step down from his post.
On Monday, the DNC Credentials Committee committee heard a complaint that alleged the body bungled its own rules when Hogg and Malcolm Kenyatta were elected as vice chairs in February. To move forward, the full national body would have to sign off on the resolution the committee approved. If it does, it would call for a new election for the two vice chair posts in question and therefore would remove Hogg and Kenyatta from their posts.
In a statement, Hogg said it’s “impossible to ignore the broader context of my work to reform the party which loomed large over this vote.”
“The DNC has pledged to remove me, and this vote has provided an avenue to fast-track that effort,” Hogg said.
