Buena Park’s Vice Mayor Connor Traut has announced a campaign for the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
“As a fourth-generation Orange County resident and public servant, I want to ensure that future generations have the opportunity to live and work in safe, affordable, and welcoming communities. The 4th Supervisorial District has a great deal to be proud of: from our world-famous amusement parks to our colleges, parks, and public amenities.
I want to use my experiences to build on our strengths while also addressing the challenges we face. I’m committed to preserving public safety, improving affordability, strengthening county services, reducing homelessness, protecting our environment, supporting local businesses, and creating good paying jobs. I look forward to the campaign and conversations ahead.”
If you’re first thought is “wow, he’s young” you’d be right. He’s a brand new dad too, but he’s been in elective office for years now and knows the players and the game. His eulogy of his friend, the late Jordan Brandman, was as impactful a tribute you’d ever want to hear.

I believe Sharon has already endorsed Connor; and I think Josh is angling for a different state senate seat.
