Women In Leadership will introduce their members and supporters to all three of the House candidates WIL has endorsed in the 2024 primary at a September 6 lunch in Santa Ana.

Allyson Muñiz Damikolas is a chemical engineer and a mom. In 2020, she defeated a 24-year incumbent to win a seat on the Tustin Unified School Board. Now she’s running to unseat Young Kim in the 40th Congressional district.

Kim Bernice Nguyen was the youngest person elected to the Garden Grove City Council. Currently nearing the end of her second term in that office, Kim is running to replace Michelle Steel as the representative for the 45th district.

Joanna Weiss is a former litigator and adjunct professor at Chapman University School of Law, and she is the founder and past president of WAVE Action Fund. Joanna is running for the open seat in District 47 currently held by Katie Porter.

Please join us for a conversation with these three terrific candidates about what’s it’s like to run for Congress as a woman in 2024 and their plans to improve the lives of Orange County families as members of Congress.  Tickets are $60 and the lunch is at the Santa Ana County Club at 20382 Newport Blvd.

The website link to RSVP isn’t working; so please reach out to the candidate’s campaigns directly to RSVP.
