| Anaheim, CA – Congressman Lou Correa, State Senator Tom Umberg, and State Assemblymember Avelino Valencia have released the following joint statement:
“New revelations have come to light outlining secretly planned mock City council meetings, which included former Anaheim Mayor Harry Sidhu, Council Members, representatives of the Angels Baseball Organization, and city employees, to ensure the sale of Angel Stadium. These acts are unethical and deeply troubling.
If any elected official’s or city staff’s actions as public servants were influenced by this preordained plan, we are calling on them to resign immediately. This is one of the most significant public corruption scandals in Orange County’s history. It is imperative that we hold every city leader, who abused the public’s trust and enabled Sidhu’s corruption, accountable.”

Steve Faessel needs to resign! Jose Diaz needs to not run for re-election! Jim Vanderpool, Robert Fabela and Mike Lyster need to be fired! And all those involved, past council members and insiders who took part in this corruption need to tell everything they know and come clean. Anaheim needs a true house cleaning.
Correa & Umberg should thank Melahat. She protected those conservative Dems all these years, and they all turned on her. You can hater all you want, but without her, NONE of that shit in Anaheim would ever have been exposed. I sure hope she writes a book one day and exposes all these motherfuckers.
