In doing so, they strip women of basic human rights and allow one specific religious viewpoint to dictate the lives of all women in the United States. While we condemn the flawed and partisan logic of the decision today, the Democratic Party of Orange County acknowledges the challenge presented to protect women. We will work with the Governor to make sure California remains a Reproductive Freedom State, and we will work to incorporate these rights, including the right to abortion, into our State’s Constitution.”
