Welead OC has 40 Scholarships available to OC Progressive Demcoratic women who are interested in running for local office! There are nearly 175 seats to fill at the local level in Orange County.
To date, we have not come close to recruiting and electing Progressive Democratic women and Women of Color in OC. Women are organizing and training activists participating in the Resistance Movements across Orange County — Women are driving the conversations and the rallies, advocating on behalf of policies affecting human rights, reproductive rights, protecting our environment, LGBTQ rights, racial equality, freedom of religion and workers’ rights. Let’s harness the energies from the Resistance Movements and elect women as policy holders — Just say “YES!”
