Irvine City Council Candidate Farrah N. Khan announced today that she has officially received the endorsement of Progressive Change Campaign Committee’s (PCCC) Power List. Only 30 candidates were highlighted nationally due to their strong progressive politics and record of activism in their communities.
“When we met Farrah last summer, we were very impressed with her long history of service in the community she seeks to represent, her commitment to fairness and collaboration, and her strong personal values. We are very happy to add her to PCCC’s 2016 Power List and believe she will make an excellent member of the Irvine City Council,” said Kait Sweeney, Press Secretary for the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) and its nearly 1 million members and growing nation-wide believe in fighting for bold progressive change. It’s not enough to agree with us on the issues we champion — heroes in Congress and candidates on the campaign trail that we support also believe in fighting for these values.
Farrah N. Khan expressed gratitude upon receiving the PCCC’s Power List endorsement: “I am beyond honored to be named to the Progressive Change Campaign Committee’s (PCCC) 2016 Power List and I plan to bring bold leadership to the Irvine City Council, ” said Khan.
Khan has also been endorsed by Former Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang, State Controller Betty Yee, Democratic Party of Orange County and the California Democratic Party.
