Anaheim council member Jordan Brandman has filed his nomination signatures for re-election to the Anaheim City Council a week after securing several high profile labor union endorsements.  Brandman announced in an email fundraising pitch that he has been endorsed by Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CD-46) and State Assemblyman and former Anaheim Mayor Tom Daly (AD-69) for re-election.

Here’s the note below:

Yesterday, I submitted my nomination signatures to represent Council District 3 on the Anaheim City Council for four more years. Walking from door to door, speaking with voters throughout the district about the need to create good jobs, make our neighborhoods safe, and invest in community services and infrastructure continues to inspire me. I’m looking forward to discussing our vision for Council District 3 through the campaign season and into November.

Better yet, our community leaders agree with that vision. I’m proud to announce that Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez and Assemblymember Tom Daly have endorsed our reelection campaign!

I’m humbled by their support and their confidence in me and the campaign we are building day by day, neighbor to neighbor.

Do you agree with Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, Assemblymember Tom Daly, and I that Council District 3 deserves safe neighborhoods, high-paying jobs and a strong local economy, and community services that benefit all residents?

Brandman faces Dr. Jose Moreno, Linda Lobatos and Jennifer Rivera in Anaheim’s newly drawn District 3.
