Orange, CA– Today, the Orange County Business Council (OCBC) endorsed Loretta Sanchez for the United States Senate to replace retiring Senator Barbara Boxer, citing Sanchez’s commitment to securing California’s water supply through infrastructure projects that create jobs and strengthens the economy.

“In her 20 years in Congress, Rep. Loretta Sanchez has consistently been the voice of reason on many critical issues facing California’s economy, including water, infrastructure, and the good jobs that come with those,” said Lucy Dunn, President and CEO, OCBC. “Her ability to work across the aisle and achieve results is exactly the type of leadership the state needs to continue prosperous growth.”

The Orange County Business Council is the leading voice for business in America’s sixth largest county. In their mission to support economic development in Orange County, they advocate for infrastructure, affordable housing for workers, and workforce development.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Orange County Business Council,” said Rep. Sanchez. “Infrastructure investments that create good jobs and strengthen our economy will continue to be a priority for me when I am elected as a United States Senator.”
