LOS ANGELES, CA — Days before the California Democratic Party’s Executive Board (E-Board) meeting in Long Beach, today California Democratic Party Vice Chair and Los Angeles County Democratic Party Chair Eric C. Bauman received a high-powered endorsement from California’s esteemed and widely respected State Senate President Pro-Tem Kevin de León in his campaign for Chair of the California Democratic Party.

In announcing his support of Bauman for Chair of the California Democratic Party, State Senate President Pro-Tem Kevin de León released the following statement: “Eric Bauman is a giant in the Democratic Party. He’s helped shape and spearhead hundreds of campaigns to help elect more Democrats to public office than anyone else in this race. Eric understands the fundamentals of how campaigns are run, but also how to win them. From an organizational standpoint, along with his unique ability to inspire and engage and grow the grassroots activist base in our Party, no other candidate comes close to Eric Bauman’s record or his skill-sets. Plus, I’ve seen firsthand Eric’s resolute commitment to empowering diverse communities in our minority majority state. For these reasons and many more, I’m proud to endorse Eric C. Bauman for Chair of the California Democratic Party.”

State Senate President Pro-Tem Kevin de León joins Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon and 800 other California Democratic Party state delegates who are also backing Bauman for Chair of the California Democratic Party.

Eric C. Bauman is the Vice Chair of the California Democratic Party and Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, the largest local Democratic Party in the nation with a campaign budget of nearly $2 million per year. For more information please visit www.ericbauman.com

  1. I like Bauman, if for no other reason, he like many of us thinks Greg Diamond is an a$$hole. Who can’t agree with that?

But, I am a fan of his double dealing and playing the “gay card” at every opportunity. That tends to make him act “untouchable”.

Consider this article in Sundays SF Chronicle:

Again, he seems sleazy, but, sometimes I feel like even someone that kills kittens, but see’s Greg for what he is (like many) is worthy of listening to.
