Hot off the press from the Loretta Sanchez for US Senate campaign:

Over twenty more Elected Officials have chosen to endorse Loretta Sanchez, citing her community outreach, education advocacy, and national security experience

February 24, 2016 – Support for Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez’s bid to replace Barbara Boxer in the United States Senate continues to grow among local-level leaders across California, with numerous Mayors, City Councilmembers, and other local-level officials from across Los Angeles County announcing their endorsement of Loretta’s candidacy. “In the 20 years that she has served in Congress, Rep. Sanchez has done extraordinary work uniting the various communities of Southern California,” said Artesia Mayor Pro Tem Ali Taj. “Her effectiveness at building bridges is very much because she grew up among these Los Angeles area communities, giving her firsthand knowledge of the struggles, hardships, and dreams of the people here.”

“Congresswoman Sanchez is uniquely qualified and experienced in addressing the national security concerns of our nation,” said South Gate Mayor Jorge Morales. “Her years of service on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Homeland Security Committee makes her, without a doubt, the best person to send to the U.S. Senate in order to keep our country and our people safe” “Rep. Sanchez understand how important early education and college grant programs are for the success of kids from working families, particularly because these were public programs that helped her succeed too,” said Pico Rivera Councilmember Gustavo Camacho. “That is why she has fought so hard for these programs in Congress, and why we need her to continue the fight in the U.S. Senate.”

“I am truly honored to have the support of local leaders across Los Angeles County,” said Loretta Sanchez. “Nobody better understands the challenges that Californian cities face on daily basis than our Mayors and City Councilmembers. That is why I am incredibly honored that they have placed their faith in me to be their representative in Washington D.C,” she continued. “As U.S. Senator, I will fight to ensure that Californian cities have the resources that they need to address the challenges of our time.” Joining the rapidly-growing list of endorsers are:
