  1. Someone should ask why the new YD board and Joe Dunn at a meeting at the home of a convicted felon who police found with a gun and crystal meth.

    • If you remember what Roman Renya went through during his mayoral run for just taking a photo with someone he hadn’t seen in years, it would seem that was a greater sin than Joe showing up at Paul’s place. I’m sure the OCYD crowd enjoyed the herbal refreshments Paul offered.

    • Idiots. The Young Dems meeting and Paul’s pool party were two different things, different places, different times.

Not that there’s anything wrong with anyone doing anything at Paul’s. The guns were legal and registered to him, the meth wasn’t his, and his conviction was set aside. So you can all just go have sex with yourselves, in the worst way possible.

      • You keep saying it was set aside, show some proof or STFU. Meth not his? He really used that tired old excuse? Joe Dunn knows how to keep good company, a 5 time DUI convictee and a meth possessor (with intent to sell?).

  2. The OCYD hanging out at Lipton’s errr. I mean Paul’s pool is weird. Isn’t the guy like fifty???
Not so young….but then again drugs take the years away.

Despite his carpetbagging, I would have considered Bao the choice for young voters. But. If he didn’t even bother to show up, that demonstrates his commitment (or lackthereof) to this race.

Joe is a rich old man, who pals around with Mark Geragoes, Michael Jackson and Scott Petersons failed attorney.

  3. Is this the SAME Joe Dunn who in 2002 (or there abouts) used his political musle to fore Linda Bell, the principal at Santiago Elementery to create a ” special” 6th grade class for his daughter Sarah?

Background: SAUSD Elementary schools are generally K-5. This means Sarah, who lived in adffluent Floral Park would have to attend Willard Middle School, one of Californias WORST schools, after she did not win the lottery for Mendez Fundental. So rather than sibject lil Sarah to the “Mexicans”, Dianne and Joe Dunn had a “hybrid” sixth grade established. There were six other students in this “grade”.

Linda Bell has since retired, countless others sent their kids to Holy Family, St. Jeans or the scam called ElSol, which has since been resurected and is sucessful (by new leaders and parents like Claudio Gallegoes). The point is, Joe pulled strings, like mone of the other parents could.

Check it out. Ask how many kids were in Sarah Dunn’s sixth grade “class” at the time Willard had an average class size of 36 and an english learner ratio of more than 30:1. Funny how this man of the people acted when his family was faced with education choices.

Ask the Floral Park people of last decade how John and Sarah Dunn were treated in comparison to theirs. Mayor Pulido knows, Lou Correa Knows, the Laguna’s, Marshalls, Gee’s, Schaffers, Greens and Litzfa’s KNOW.

Joe may be a great lawyer politician mouthpiece, but make no mistake this guy is all about his next payday, and he caresnot who he must step on (including working class families) to get what he wants.

    • I am no fan of Joe Dunn, but that is false. You are thinking of Miguel Pulido and Laura Saari who had this special 6th grade created. He is the only one who had the influence to do this.

        • Nice try again Miguelito apologist. Miguel Jr. is only months younger than John Dunn, Joe’s son. In fact it was those two who were in the innaugural 10 person 6th grade class if memory serves me right. Then John went to Foothill High School(in another school district) while Miguel’s went on to be artists.

    • There is NO confusing what Joe and Dianne did. We all did the same, bailed. The class experiment lasted for exactly ONE YEAR. That was the daughters year. Pulido’s children were not old enough yet (although no doubt he would have done the same). The situation was incredibly dicey from a parenting standpoint.

You know who would know is Nick Gerda, he was around then (younger). By the way Nicks Father, Joe should run for school board.

Better yet ask the Dunn’s. They can’t deny Sarah had a small special opportunity not afforded to brown kids.

  4. Someone/Anyone needs to check this out. Here’s Why?
Following the original accusation, Santa Ana Facts and Truth Detector respond uncommonly quickly (anon.). The problem is his/her attempt at deflection (Pulido) is WRONG.

John Dunn graduated Foothill HS (Tustin USD) in 2012. Pulido Jr. was a mere 15 years old. See LOC archives:

    https://theliberaloc.com/2012/10/11/voice-of-oc-alleged-rape-pulido/

Further, No one is talking about High School, we aretalking about the advent of Mendez Middle School, which Sarah Dunn, the older daughter failed to get into in the early 2000’s when it opened. Following the lottery failure Dianne and Joe met with Santiago ES staff, Rob Richardson and others and the INAGURAL class was set. this may have been repeated for John in 2006/7 but, I doubt it. He got in to the fundamental school.

Education is an important component of our society, This is why this is so interesting, by contrast, I believe the Correa’swere big advocates of the original El Sol ( as were the Pulido’s) before it failed so miserably and spun off.

But to keep on point. The original accusation is pretty close to the truth, I know because I moved when my kid didn’t get in to the class.
