President Barack Obama delivers 2013 State of the Union address to Congress

In case the coverage in Big Bear distracted you from the State of the Union, it was an ambitious speech by President Obama with a call for a national pre-school program to help kids get off to a better start, a new call for manufacturing excellence to help restore the middle class economy, and a call to protect the nation’s cybersecurity infrastructure by making it a national security issue.  Hackers today can do more damage with a few keystrokes than the Iraqi Republican Guard could during the first Gulf War.

Here’s a transcript of the president’s address.

For the Republican response by Senator Marco Rubio, the same old tired ideas were pitched.  But did thirsty Rubio’s sip of water make him a candidate for the latest Internet meme?  Here’s a transcript of what he had to say.  Paul Ryan drank so much water during his debate with Biden, even I had to use the men’s room.  Liars get thirsty, what can I say?

    Again this is not from the Tea-Party, or any conservative organization. The Left is calling for Obama’s Impeachment. This Left wing source is saying that:

    • FYI…. Another “left-wing” source, Counterpunch Magazine, published a scathing attack on Obama’s depravity in the Feb. 12, 2013 edition. The article, written by Norman Pollack, Michigan State University Professor is called “The Blood Spat President” includes the following, (“Blood Spat: all that is left, where once stood a fellow human being, when struck by a drone missle.”)
      So, its about time that some have faced up to the reality that LaRouche told you about in April, 2009. Just admit you were wrong about Obama, as these others have, and you will be forgiven, and welcomed back to the fold of those fighting for a decent future for ALL HUMAN BEINGS On G-D’s EARTH.

          I know you may be tempted to get Obama to send a drone after the people that took this poll, but nonetheless, you should be informed THE HEAT IS ON YOU, BROTHER!!!
          To Wit: The Huffington Post conducted a poll that showed national sentiment for impeachment of Obama having now reached 35% overall,with 66% among Republicans, 34% among independents, and 16% for Democrats!!
          As I said Chris, THE HEAT IS ON YOU, YOU GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO BROTHER!!

    Currently, 40% of the U.S. corn harvest goes to ethanol production. Corn for ethanol raises the Global price of corn; this results in more malnutrition and starvation for the world’s poor. Ethanol kills in the short-term. Developing nations purchase corn on the Global market for food, – this results in less money for economic development. Ethanol kills in the long-term.

    NET ENERGY LOSS — BIOFUELS Aren’t Even Green

    “Turning plants such as corn, soybeans and sunflowers into fuel uses much more energy than the resulting ethanol or biodiesel generates, according to a new Cornell University and University of California-Berkeley study.

    “In terms of energy output compared with energy input for ethanol production, the study found that: — corn requires 29 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced; — switch grass requires 45 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced; and — wood biomass requires 57 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced.”

    “In terms of energy output compared with the energy input for biodiesel production, the study found that: — soybean plants require 27 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced, and — sunflower plants require 118 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced.”

      To wit: Lew was Citiigroup’s Chief Operating Officer for Growth Management and Alternative Investments from 2006-2008, that is running the proprietary trading at Citigroup before and during the crash!!!!!
