Bush’s deficit. It’s still Bush’s deficit. The 
chart. In case you haven’t seen it yet. See the full-size chart here. Try as they might to blame President Obama for the sorry state of our economy, the chart does show clearly what the largest contributory factors are.
Ezra Klein of the Washington Post and various news program appearances has a couple crack staffers who do brilliant research both for Ezra and in response to questions from his readers. Have a look here for the answer his team found for the question, “What would be the effect on viability of Social Security if the cap on taxable wages were lifted?” The news is good and does not involve raising the retirement age.
The Associated Press is reporting that 1 million uninsured people will be able to get coverage under “Obamacare” Health Care Reform next year. Well, it’s a start.
BP Oil Spill. Three environmental groups have filed a two-pronged challenge to the judge’s ruling that the deep water drilling moratorium is illegal. See the details here.
Rand Paul. Good News! His campaign now says he doesn’t want an underground electric fence along the southern border, after all. Whew! Cuz he was having a hard time explaining how it would work.
Michael Steele. Oh, he’s in deep Bandini now. It’s not enough that McCain, Graham, and DeMint have expressed a lack of confidence in him after his Afghanistan remarks. It’s not enough that Ron Paul did express support. But now the intellectual power house known as William Kristol has chimed in.
Talk about a boob job. Sharia law “enforcers” reaching farther and farther in Iran — apparently mannequins in Iran are being subjected to forced double mastectomies in order to prevent even fake boobs from appearing in public. From George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley’s blog, Iranian director Firouzeh Khosrovani brought this to attention in his 2007 documentary “Rough Cut” and said in 2009 that “The amputation of the mannequins is something that can explain many things. It is imposed on the shopkeepers under the claim that they are very sexy and they provoke sinful, immoral thoughts in men. My question is why do women have to cover ourselves in order to prevent man’s sin?†Indeed.
Eating Salad isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be. Considering these salads, I can’t wait for this place to open.
‘Who has the higher deficit’ is not the issue.
The issue is the bankrupt financial system, and the Obama fraud.

Granted George Bush during his last term in office became a Democrat in drag, keeping the printing presses cranking out those dollars to finance his two wars and a host of entitlements, he was too spineless to oppose. However, unless my memory fails me, Democrats were in control of both houses of Congress for the last two years of the Bush era. They contributed equally, or greater to most of the problems we are faced with today. Now, a year and a half later you are still pointing the finger at Bush, after flushing billions of tax dollars down the toilet on Job Stimulus, bailouts of major Wall Street firms and Corporations who were Obama supporters. Where are the jobs, where is the economy, why are home foreclosures continuing? These are excuses that you mortgaged the future of my grand children for? Come November 2010, expect a strong message to be sent to all you big spenders, Democrats and Republicans alike.
