California’s Applicant Review Panel met today to review the 4,546 completed applications for the Citizens Redistricting Commission (Proposition 11). The field of applicants was narrowed to 622, including 27 Orange Countians, who are listed here. Those who were not selected, and the reasons for their disqualification, are listed here.
The Panel’s next task will be to further reduce the list of applicants to only 60. The process of selecting the final members of the first Commission, to be completed before the end of the year, is explained here.
