Breaking: Brown Overtakes Galloway by 24 Votes in 4th District Battle for 3rd Place

The latest results from the OC Registrar of Voters was posted at 5pm Friday. There were no major changes in the races for 70th Assembly (R) or 2nd District Board of Education. But in the 4th District Supervisor Race Buena Park Mayor Art Brown has bumped Anaheim Council woman Lorri Galloway out of 3rd place, by 24 votes.

Brown, who essentially didn’t spend any money on the race has managed to poll better than Galloway who spent in excess of $100,000 on her campaign. Brown and Galloway are trailing behind the winner, Fullerton Councilman Shawn Nelson, and Anaheim Councilman Harry Sidhu. They will face each other in a runoff election in November.

  1. You know, now that Lorri’s run is over and done with, the one person I feel most sorry for in all of this is Daniel Lamb. All of those spittle-flecked blog comments (under all of those different aliases), telling those of us who suggested that Lorri was a lackluster candidate with lukewarm ethics that we were idiots/liars/racists/sexist pigs, and that Lorri would march to victory on the shoulders of the people of the 4th, because she was the only one who truly understood the district, and blahblahblah … well, I just hope that Daniel is doing all right now that it turns out that his most special and treasured idol has feet of clay.

Maybe someone who knows how to get in touch with him should make sure that he’s doing okay, and hasn’t gone on the kind of multiday bender that could lead a fella into a permanent downward slide.

    • My only question is how long do we have to wait to get her smug mug off her signs that litter our town? She looks like she is selling real estate in those stupid things. Come to think of it, she may be left to that as a career choice once 2012 catches her without a public office to pander for donations to her friends and family charity. Nah, the Realtors I know have better ethics.
