In a move that surpasses even her own hilarious video missteps (which you can see and read about here), carpetbagger from the 3rd, Lorri Galloway posted this vid on her campaign website.

Lorri would like to welcome you to her home and her life. Not surprisingly she doesn’t mention which home she’s welcoming you too… is it her 3rd district home in Anaheim Hills? Or is it her 4th district, fake home, that her favorite political donor is providing for her, so she pretends to meet anti-carpetbagging regulations?
Anyhow, the part of the video I found particularly telling was this quote from Galloway
” I feel that it’s important that you get to know me, and the issues that are important to me, and also to you.”
Really Lorri? You want to carpetbag into the 4th, and tell the voters what’s important to YOU?
The sad part is she thinks she can cover everything you need to know in 4 minutes. There wasn’t enough time to cover the myriad amount of topics that matter to the 4th in a public forum that Lorri decided not to attend, yet she thinks hand-picked issues covered in her youtube videos will suffice? The amount of disrespect she shows the people of the 4th is simply astounding.
Keep the videos coming Lorri, had I provided the script they wouldn’t be this good!
The headline of this post states Lorri Galloway is Anti-Gay. As a gay person, I am offended and disturbed that a poster on this blog would just throw that claim around in what can only be rationalized as senselessly throwing a fit.
Lorri was endorsed by ECCO in her last race and has been supported by gay community members in many different way for a long time.
It seem like this guy is trying to get kicked off the blog. I realize anyone would be reluctant to remove a blogger, but this is just ridiculous and sad.
This is not a blog post. This is hate mail.
Steve,
I think you may have overreached a little in calling Lorri “Anti-Gay.” Lorri is not anti-gay. While she may have no problem supporting anti-gay candidates like Lynn Daucher and Sue Perez, that doesn’t make Lorri anti-gay.
Rather, I think Lorri’s position on LGBT civil rights simply takes a back seat when it comes to her supporting anti-gay candidates.
Didn’t Lorri’s brother serve on the ECCO board? Chris – support for a candidate doesn’t mean that support for LGBT issues takes a backseat either.
Steve — she’s anti-gay? That’s quite a charge to leave hanging there with no backup whatsoever. She is not anti-gay and if you plan to hang that charge on the stretch that because she endorsed Lou Correra’s opponent in the last state senate race, that makes her anti-gay, you are completely nuts.
I’d say, based on your logic, that Tom Daly’s support of Lou Correra, means he doesn’t care about the healthcare concerns of voters and residents of the 4th district. After all, Lou voted against comprehensive single payer reform recently and Daly supported him. Does that mean Daly is against healthcare reform? No. But by your logic, it does.
Why don’t you add “debate team” to your college activities and take a philosophy course or two to help you with logical reasoning.
As for the video, this is the first in a series of YouTube videos and it’s obviously unscripted. If the next one is too polished, are you going to criticize her for being too polished?
How about a post explaining why Daly is the man Steve. And then please explain why so many Republicans — the very ones opposed to Prop 8 — are shilling for him.
