  1. This event shows that Lorri’s campaign is very strong, being able to discuss with her what she can do for the fourth district would be a delight!

    • Lorri scheduling a single event is evidence that her campaign is “very strong”? Way to lower the bar!

(P.S. Is it true, as the Friends for Fullerton’s Future blog asserts, that her “lovely restored historic home” is actually part of a cluster of commercial buildings on the corner of Lincoln and East? Nothing says “I want to settle down here for keeps” like living between a parking lot and a bus stop on a busy street corner.)

  2. I don’t see any Daly events or Press other than speculation.
So it’s not a culdesac, who knew there were busy streets in anaheim.

  3. It’s not that it’s a busy street — it’s that her residence in the Fourth District is a transparent sham. And the more I look into it, the worse it gets: she’s ‘living’ in a property that’s commercially zoned (designation O-L, “Low-Intensity Office”). Read Section 18.38.120 of the Anaheim Municipal Code (governing uses of a converted residential structure in an O-L zone) and tell me how it’s legal for her to be residentially occupying her “lovely home”. I’m sure that some will shortly spring to her defense (she’s just urban homesteading! it’s a live/work space — how kicky!), but it seems like she’s moved on from violating the spirit of the law to actually violating the law.

(If I called Code Enforcement on her, think they’d treat her the same way as someone living, say, in an illegally converted garage? Probably not.)

  4. Well Kevin we will soon see how Code Enforcement views this, as they tell me it is indeed illegal to live in a site zoned light commercial-retail, and they will be looking into it. See a post to Red County soon on the bigger story.
