Santa Ana Council decides on Graffiti and Trolley’s

We mentioned yesterday that the City of Santa Ana was considering a new graffiti ordinance and the approval of a contract for the development of a trolley in Santa Ana.

I was unable to be at the meeting but the OC Register has the full reports below:

Santa Ana puts parents on hook for graffiti: The City Council voted Monday on a sweeping anti-graffiti law that makes parents financially responsible for the crimes of their children.

Vote gets Santa Ana streetcar project rolling: The City Council awards the lead contract to a well-connected firm that got a low ranking from the city’s own panel of experts.
