“Socks” the two toned black and white cat adopted by 11 year old Chelesa Clinton in 1991 has used up his 9th life and succumbed at the ripe old age of 17 or 18.Â
Socks went from being an Arkansas stray to having the run of the White House. He was preceded in death by the Clinton’s dog Buddy who was run over by a car shortly after the Clinton’s moved to Westchester, NY. The grieveing Clintons loved their puddy cat.
