The Senate Republicans, upset over the budget that their leader had agreed to, successfully initiated a coup-d’etat and ousted their leader Dave Codgill for cutting the current budget deal. Their new leader Dennis Hollingsworth (left), demonstrated the resolve of his new leadership by demonstrating how he and the GOP caucus will hold their collective breath to prevent any new taxes.
The Senate is still locked in session, they are still one vote shy, and Hollingsworth is still holding his breath in hopes that not one more Senator agrees to vote yes.
