Bush-O-Nomics in Action

Bush, McCain, and their GOP should be proud of themselves… Shouldn’t they?

The nation’s unemployment rate zoomed to a five-year high of 6.1 percent in August as employers slashed 84,000 jobs, dramatic proof of the mounting damage a deeply troubled economy is inflicting on workers and businesses alike.

The Labor Department’s report, released Friday, showed the increasing toll the housing, credit and financial crises are taking on the economy.

6.1% unemployment? 84,000 jobs lost? Looming recession? And “the fundamentals of our economy are strong”, as Bush & McCain say? Gimme a break!

Count me out… We desperately need change.

  1. Well it’s true the economy is a mess- it’s even worse than people realize. More jobs will be exported- leading to even greater trouble ahead.

While Bush (& Congress) is somewhat culpable- with their war fiasco & wall street mortage debacle- unfortunatly the wholesale export of USA jobs by foolish trade agreements like NAFTA & PNTR has caused a massive job EXODUS that we may never recover from.

EVERY country in the world protects it’s jobs … except ours.

And thouse wise enough to say we should protect our jobs too are branded by the media as “protectionists” or “isolationists”- as if that’s some terrible thing.

Enamoured by wall street $$$, blind to wall street’s agenda, sold out to wall street greed- our “representatives”- lead by Clinton who singlehandedly pushed through PNTR- have SOLD OUT the USA.

    MCCain & Biden joined him.

The only one who has shown the insight to understand the problem & it’s ramifications is Obama – but his commitment to addressing it is suspect- in part by his selection of Biden.

While other countries standard of living is on the rise, we our on the decline … with no end in sight …
