Ginny Mayer for Senate Campaign Kick-off This Sunday!

This just in from the DPOC. It’s important to remember all the great local Democratic candidates running here in OC. So if you live on the coast, why not check out Ginny Mayer’s campaign kickoff this Sunday? 🙂

New DPOC LogoGinny Mayer is the Democratic nominee for State Senate in the 35th Senate District against the out-of-touch incumbent, Tom Harmon.

ginny mayer Simply stated, we need more Democrats in the State Senate. The problems facing Californians are enormous. Budget cuts are just the beginning. If we want practical solutions that reflect Democratic values it is not enough to have a Democratic majority in the Senate; we need a super majority – which means 17 State Senators. The 15 we have now can still be blocked in Sacramento by the Republican minority, and that is bad for all Californians.

This is a year where Democrats can sweep the nation and our county. Ginny needs our help to win and we need Ginny to be in Sacramento fighting for us!

What is the problem with the budget cuts – not deep enough to dig us out of the spending abyss the dem legislature has created?

  2. Budget cuts are required. I am scarfed of teachers as they have a powerful union and you cannot fire any incompetent ones. So budget cuts happen and tough. I rather have SMALLER numerb of teacher and am willing to pay them 50% more. So fire some.

I have 4 kids in public schools and some the people I meet er jerks and act like they are doing me a favor with my tax $$
