*Teamsters & California Federation of Teachers Endorse Ed Chau for Congress *
*Ed Chau Picks up Two Key Endorsements in his Democratic Nomination Fight!*
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, California - The Ed Chau for U.S. Congress campaign proudly announces its most recent endorsements by The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Joint Council 42 and the California Federation of Teachers.
Ed Chau sought the endorsement of the Teamsters because having the Teamsters endorsement means having an organization who knows how to get out the vote for their endorsed candidate. Ed Chau said, “I am honored by the Teamsters endorsement and will work hard to support working families in Congress.” Jim Santangelo, President of Joint Council 42, said in their endorsement of Ed Chau, On behalf of over 150,000 Teamster members and their families, it is my pleasure to inform you that Teamsters Joint Council 42 has endorsed your election to the U.S. House and We wish you great success and a great victory on Election Day.ÂÂÂ
Ed Chau’s experience as an elected school board member, and his work on behalf of teachers in that capacity, makes him well-versed in all facets of education issues and potential legislation. The California Federation of Teachers endorsement follows the recent endorsement by the California Teachers Association. Both groups recognize Chaus experience in the education arena and, according to the CFT, appreciate Chaus efforts to promote public education and the interests of educators throughout
California and the 42nd Congressional District.
*Ed Chau is a highly qualified Democratic candidate for Congress who will fight for ethics and integrity in the U.S. Congress. For more

How on earth can the teamsters and teachers unions endorse Ed Chau. As a former teacher of Montebello USD, I am shocked that CTA & CFT would even consider endorsing a school board member for any seat. Ed has not always been supportive of teacher issues. He has not worked his way through the rank and file of any union. There have been times where he has voted against ideas and resolutions for the classroom.
Then, to learn that he does not even reside in the Congressional Area for the office that he is seeking. Give me a break. He has no clue of the needs of this area. And only if he wins the seat, then and then only he will then decide and consider on getting a home in this area. Please!!!!?????!!!!! He may get a home here, but, will he actually live in it? This Is Very doubtful. This would mean that he would have leave Montebello.
