Iowa Caucus Watching Parties: Thursday, 1/03/08

2008 is just around the corner and the caucus/primary season will be in full swing in just a few weeks. Come and root for your favorite candidate with fellow Democrats as we watch the Iowa Caucus returns. We’ll have three parties throughout the county, so there will be one near you whether you’re in North County, Central County, or South County.

All parties will start at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 3rd. Here are all of the details:

North Orange County IA Caucus Watching Party

Location: Democratic Club of North Orange County monthly meeting Sizzler Restaurant – 1401 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA RSVP: Sharon Brown at 714-992-0276 or shbrownsbh@aol.com Cost: Free, but attendees are asked to buy their own dinner.

Central Orange County IA Caucus Watching Party

Location: Home of Carina Franck-Pantone & Jim Pantone 1010 N. Lowell Street, Santa Ana, CA RSVP: Lindsay Hopkins at 714-835-5158 or lindsay@ocdemocrats.org Cost: Suggested $5 donation to cover the cost of food.

South Orange County IA Caucus Watching Party

Location: Steve Young for Congress Campaign Headquarters 101 Pacifica, Suite 100, Irvine, CA RSVP: Marion Pack at 949-640-4400 or marionpack@cableone.net Cost: Free. This is a potluck, so please bring your favorite dish.

Hillary Clinton Watch Party
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Mexicanisimo, 2323 West First Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703. Join us in Santa Ana for an Iowa caucus watch party, hosted by Former Assemblymember Tom Umberg. All eyes will be on Iowa this night so you are invited to join with other California Hillary Clinton supporters to watch the returns of the first-in-nation Iowa caucus that officially kicks-off the 2008 primary election season!   1. Oh wow, that sounds like fun, I will probably be doing EENR on the Daily Kos and live blogging, how sad is that :)? I also plan on taking a half day from work. My life is so strange.
