Good luck and Godspeed to the Anaheim Ducks as they take on the Ottawa Senators for the Stanley Cup. We’re thankful to the Samueli’s for investing in the team and connecting so strongly with Orange County.
The Ducks were the number two seed in the West; Ottawa was number 4 in the East. Both teams beat the number one seeds to make it to the finals. Whoever wins will win their first Stanley Cup (I’m not counting those cups Ottawa won in the 30s before there was an NHL). And Anaheim has more Canadian players than Ottawa does.
Should you ever get a chance to visit Ottawa, do so. It’s a lovely city. I highly recommend its Winter celebration.ÂÂ
