More Tan Nguyen signs

I’m not that old, so I don’t really remember anything like this happening here in Orange County before. Does anybody know of a specific time when a candidate’s signs were so hated by the public?

This guy clearly needs some help spelling, but I think we get his point:

  1. What makes you a communist, the same irrational thinking that makes you call Tan a racist? Just because Tan doesn’t agree with people breaking US laws by crossing our border illegally & forging US documents, you feel he’s racist. I figured I would use the same irrational thinking and call you a commie. It’s time people use their minds and not their emotions to think outside the party lines. It’s also funny how you only have a problem with Tan’s sign and promote people defacing those signs by publishing these pictures on your website. Last time I looked nearly every corner is covered with political signs. Maybe you have a problem with Tan because he’s Asian, which would actually make you a racist. Wake up, Mike!!!!

  2. If you target one ethnic group you are racist.
Why don’t we target all the asians who over stay their student visas?

I once knew of a whole house of japanese nationals who did this. None of them worked or paid taxes. The just partied like crazy and took drugs. Is that good for america?

If you want to stop illegal immigration, fine the employers who illegally hire these undocumented workers. Many of these illegal aliens already have jobs lined up before they get here.

Oh,by the way I am a racist asian who is racist against asians.

  3. Viewing the way the new unstrained Corporatist American system is treating the American people, being called a communist may be considered a compliment.

  4. Thank you to my token Asian friend for sticking up for me. But Steve is right that if you target ONE race in a campaign against illegal immigration, you are subtly letting people know that you are racist. I’m sorry Mr. Anonymous, that’s just the truth.

And I laugh at Mr. Anonymous’ comment that I am racist. I haven’t done anything or written anything to make you think that. The only thing I have done is express my dislike for one candidate who has run a pretty crappy campaign. That has nothing to do with his race, or my race.

  5. Now that I am really thinking about it, couldn’t one be a proud American communist?

When I was visiting France, I learned that the mayor of Paris was a democratically elected socialist and that the mayor of a suburb just outside of Paris was a democratically elected communist.
Both were proud Frenchmen who were dedicated in making their cities a better place for the people.

It made me start to think that these politcal ideologies are demonized in America because of the cold war, McCarthy-ism, and the dictatorships posing as communism in China and the former Soviet Union. Well, I am for democracy and regulated capitalism, but I hope it still exists in America.

One more thing, one can be a proud American without being a xenophobe.

  6. “If you target one ethnic group you are racist”

That’s funny…Anyone who is against illegal immigrants is against people who are here ILLEGALLY, this includes people who are from Mexico, Latin American, Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. Is that targeting one group? You are very selective in what you hear. Mike (and Steve) pull your head out of your ass!!! Use some logic for a change…

  7. Right, illegal immigration is illegal.

But, why are we only going after mexican ones being targeted?

    Which border are we militarizing?

Our porous Canadian border is where the “white-collar” illegal aliens enter our country.

Canadian, European, African, and Asian illegals are being omitted from the cross-hairs of the immigration debate.
These illegal aliens take away jobs that Americans really do want.

Oh yeah, but race isn’t an issue.

  8. isnt it strange that the minute you disagree with vietnamese person they call you a communist? if the “litterbug” tan nguyen is a “proud american, working for a better country” he sure doesnt seen like it to me. i dont remember anybody making so many people angry like this before. the funny thing about it is he has no chance whatsoever in winning. the only thing he has done right is piss people off and litter our streets with his annoying signs that come down almost as fast as they go up. i really hope this loser learns something from all this when it’s over.-ashley (white girl) “not afraid to tell it like it is”

  9. The question really is, “where does Tan Nguyen, who seems to have popped out of nowhere, get all the money to fund his campaign???” I wonder if Tan has a sugar daddy somewhere in Hanoi backing him to go after Loretta. Is Tan a “Manchurian Candidate” in the making?!?! or is it realyy “Closeted-Communist Candidate”?!?
