I joined Chris Prevatt at the City Council meeting last night. What a different demeanor the Council had in regards to Public Comments. The Mayor was very lenient on the time frame to turn in speaker cards and this time they took the harsh criticism leveled at them. I spoke briefly on the item to remove Tish Leon, letting them know they were essentially listening to the words of Art Pedroza, a man who promoted sex between men and boys on websites he owned and Sean Mill, a man who has threatened to harm multiple Santa Ana residents(he once threatened to kick me in the teeth in an e-mail and threatened in a text to Phil Bacerra to send gang members to his house).

A vicious attempt to censor and silence Santa Ana residents was defeated last night as Art Pedroza was removed as a moderator on the Santa Ana Citizens Yahoogroups. The Yahoogroups owner made it HERE. official It all began earlier this week when I posted a link to my Liberal OC post on El Sol Academy. What followed were personal attacks by Orange Juice bloggers Sean Mill and Art Pedroza, who have been stalking myself and other Liberal OC bloggers for over a year now. You can read their attacks HERE and HERE. I was not allowed to let them go unanswered and moved to defend myself with this comment:
For many years, the 4th of July has not had a formal celebration in Santa Ana, and I believe this was a great idea for Mr. Bella to put together. Many of the organizers were set to be honored last night before the City Council, but that was put to a stop after two Councilmembers, Claudia Alvarez and Sal Tinajero threatened to walk out. Some people may say, WHAT!, how unpatriotic is that for those two Councilmembers to walk out of a presentation honoring those who were honoring our country. Well, there is another side of the story…
