We need good jobs now. Wall Street needs to pay!

March 23, 2010 2

In the short term, economic recovery requires funding jobs at least in part by borrowing for the spending to really stimulate the economy. But in the medium to long term, we need to pay back the borrowed money we spend today and have the tax base to address our long-term infrastructure deficit. We believe it is only fair to ask Wall Street to pay for repairing the economy. After all, they are the once, who’s reckless greed helped kill our jobs.

March 23, 2010 7

I want to begin by expressing my regret and my sincerist apologies for lashing out at my former friend Art Pedroza. Up until one year ago, he was someone who not only did I consider a co-blogger, but almost like a big brother I never had. I thought we were the best of friends.

Rep. Loretta Sanchez urges Congress to pressure State Department on Vietnam

March 23, 2010 8

Calls on colleagues to sign letter urging Secretary Clinton to label Vietnam a “Country of Particular Concern” for abusing religious freedom. “My colleagues in the Congressional Vietnam Caucus and I are urging Secretary Clinton to take concrete action to hold Vietnam accountable for its severe abuses of religious freedom,” said Rep. Sanchez, who is Co-Chair of the Caucus. “Vietnam has shown a complete disregard for the rights of its citizens, actively suppressing religious activity and persecuting people of faith. March 22, 2010 38

With all the bluster on the Orange Joke and Fullerton Fringe sites about carpetbagging apparently being a political sin worse than say child abuse or murder, when it comes to AD-70 Candidate and current Irvine council member Steven Choi, there have been crickets about his carpetbagging.

OC Vector Control District Terminates District Manager

March 22, 2010 1

UPDATED: It seems that Mr. Goedhart had not been happy with the way things were going at the district. On March 15th he sent a letter to the president and Board of Directors announcing his intent to resign in 13 months unless several demands were adressed by the board. He outlined seven points of contention between him and the board, specifically some individual members and the board’s Operations Committee. Goedhart’s grievances had taken place over the past 5 months and had not been resolved to his satisfaction.
