Kudos to Matt Cunningham over at Red County for the screen save above. This comment appeared again over at Tony’s post HERE but has since been deleted after the forum. Anyways, I want to begin by expressing my regret and my sincerist apologies to the members of NUFF for speaking up at my former friend Art Pedroza. Up until one year ago, he was someone who not only did I consider a co-blogger, but almost like a big brother I never had. I thought we were the best of friends.
If Art, or Sean are somehow upset with me because I did not return to Orange Juice to blog for them or do not like my politics or the people I support, go after that. That’s fair game.Â
Go after why it is wrong for me to support Tom Daly. But allowing comments that attack my children, they are not fair game. They are 6 and 3 years old who could care less about politics. Leave my children alone. Art of all people should know better and to have allowed that comment to go up is an outrage and to hear him and Tony pontificate so self-righteously that they do not allow the most heinous and libelous accusations to be posted on the blog about their friends, I lashed out as a father because of comments they allowed to be made about my children.
The “anchor baby†comment is based on some past family information in which Art was one of a very few friends who knew about this. I thought he could be trusted. Which means he either had to tell the poster the information for them to base this on or he did it himself, which makes it all the worse. In the most recent post in their recap of the event, you can see they have continued to bring my children into the discussion in comments, which only goes to show the character of the people on Orange Juice.
He began to turn on me after I began Sunny D blog a year ago and I am sorry people had to be dragged into our feud. All I have longed to do is have my former friend look me in the eye and tell me why has has backstabbed me the way he has. I sort of got a clue in this e-mail exchange when I joined The Liberal OC:

It was pretty incredible listening to Bushala characterize what he and his crew engage in at 4F as “humor” and claim he doesn’t allow personal attacks.
It was almost as amusing as watching Pedroza’s “I’m The Most Important Blogger In The World!” routine. His ego is so over-inflated I;m surprised he could fit his head through the doorway.
Seemed to be a lot of anger directed at Tony. My comment about anonymous bloggers and testicular fortitude got better play than anything he or Art said.
Claudio — I note that Gustavo commented on OJ that he thought it was funny Matt and I were wearing blue (I had a blue tie and Matt had a blue shirt.). I don’t get it. They didn’t even match nor would they pair well together. That was funny?!?
I would have liked to asked Pedroza if he still hopes that Mexican criminals murder the Mayor of Santa Ana. But it sounds like the moderator would not have allowed the question anyway.
Well I would have liked to ask Matt Cunningham about his outing of Catholic Church sexual abuse victim names but I had enough sense not to create a ruckus at a very nice event.
