The second annual Orange County Book Fair, sponsored by Arivda Book Company, will be held this Saturday in Old Town Tustin. It’s going to be a terrific event featuring authors, panels, and booths from other independent bookstores in Orange County as well as various small artist businesses. There will be food trucks and activities for the kids. Old Town Tustin will be closed at El Camino Real, so plan your parking accordingly.
Arvida has teamed up with Morning Lavender to provide a food pantry for those who need help as SNAP benefits were paused with the Government shutdown. So, if you’re coming to the OCBook Fair, bring a bag of groceries. Canned goods, pasta and tomato sauce, cereal, diapers, toothpaste, soap, cooking oil, powdered milk, peanut butter are in high demand. There’s no refrigerator onsite, so avoid food products that need to be kept cold.
The food pantry is just one of the reasons Arvida is such a welcome presence in Orange County. So, if you’re coming on Saturday, bring a food donation.
Additionally, the sponsors are looking for volunteers to help out on Saturday; here are the details:
