Political graffiti

Spread the love

Found this piece of political graffiti on the streets of Costa Mesa at The Wooster Collective. I’ve never been to great at interpreting art, so can anyone help me with what the message here is?

  1. You obviously have soldiers bearing a coffin, presumably of a fallen comrade.

I note two of the background headlines from the Register Turkey hosting Saudi King and Hezbollah Hit Hard – amidst the “Petite Treats” and advertisements.

I interpret our disconnect from what is really happening in the Middle East.

    What ARE we doing?

  2. Hmmm…this is a tricky one…something to do with sticking our nose where it doesn’t belong, I think.

Divide by any means necessary; factor in the background; carry the coffin; multiply by 3,000…

MIDDLE EAST = DEAD AMERICAN HEROES
