Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL) resigned Friday after ABC revealed sexually explicit Instant Messages (IMs) allegedly sent by him to current and former Congressional pages; children (boys) under the age of 18.
Foley, ironically, led the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children and may go to jail under legsilation he helped author.
ABC News had read excerpts of the missives sent to former pages who said the congressman, using the screen name Maf54, couldn’t stop talking about his “sexual organs” and “acts.”
Between DeLay, Ney, Conrad Burns, “Macaca” Allen, and “Jailbait” Foley, can the Republicans really claim to be the party fo high moral fiber. What *would* Jesus do? I believe he’d vote for the candidate with a “D”next to his name….
This potentially could be a big win for OC Democratic politics as well. If Mahoney (D – FL) can win this seat, that will be a big win for Webpolitechs, Inc. of Newport Beach, the company that runs Mahoney’s online campaign. Go OC Dems!!
