Eligible Irvine voters have a right to accurate and fair elections. Ranked choice voting makes it impossible to hand count or forensically audit results without using easily-manipulated computers. Our elections are a racket of overseas interference and data paths, never to be questioned, according to the general media. It is easy to find links regarding election fraud. Don’t enable the corruption of elections.
If Measure D passes, the most popular candidate very easily may not win. Votes and ballots are discarded during each round of tallies. High scoring candidates can be eliminated during progressive rounds with ranked choice voting. The final “choice” may be based on less than 50% of the entire number of votes, or even a small percentage of all votes cast. That means a majority of votes made no difference. Your vote didn’t count. By removing candidates, a “majority” winner is eventually declared. Don’t let your voice be ranked out.
When the City of Irvine considered dividing into districts, they went to great bother to make sure there weren’t strong majorities of race, age, income, or education level in each of the six areas. Districts of plurality were of utmost importance, but not now regarding ranked choice voting? Don’t believe the Lie du jour.
